It is time for everyone to pack up for the trek to the mount this weekend. I have heard form Court, Lloyd, and others that they will be there form Friday afternoon on. I also looked at the Mount website and saw about 25 classmates listed. I know there will be a lot more because only a few were listed last year. So, if you do not have plans to get there - plan fast, ditch the kids and come on down!

Remember the Jukin’ Lemons, Irrational, Dave, Dave and Dave? I am biased, but we had some great Mount bands when we were in school. I also remember Gimme The Gun by the apartments, Great Train Robbery on Echo Field and a few band battles in Memorial Gym. Those were good times. We also had Paul Cilinski nights in the Tudor Room, and Mike Dalton of Jersey Shore fame in the Tudor Room and taking the “walk of shame” if I remember correctly (Karen?? you still alive out there?).
I also remember a legend about Don McLean coming to sng American Pie years earlier at the Mount. All in all, good music has always been a part of the good times at the Mount.
Here are a few of the music memories I have form the Mount:
Glenn playing Blues Traveler non stop in his 4Runner
Bill McGrath singing Doors… loudly
Sean Murphy sounding just like Cat Stevens
Tim Myers soloing to church music in the chapel during mass (which ticked off a few classmates.. you know who you are…2 Joes if I recall)
Greg Cartnick putting spells on the women by playing “Kiss The Girl” as he was trying to close the deal in his Jeep.
Jen Turano singing at the Plaza in Gettysburg
Well, this year at the Bicentennial Reunion, there are going to be some great live shows. Steve Liberace on Friday night, and The Fabulous Greaseband on the Terrace Saturday night.

Ok, so at this year’s reunion weekend, we will be raging form Friday noon until Sunday. There may still be apartments and rooms in She
rid
an to be had. The Fabulous Greaseband will be playing on campus and of course bring your $5.00 for a pitcher at Otts. Can you believe it was only a year ago that a suspicious fire broke out on the quad (Scudder)?
I have not heard form the Fee clan, the Manning / Voll gang, but many of the B girls, the Peduto/Ellermeyer and the Lloyd/McGrath contingent seem
to be making it down.
Who is coming – respond to this post! Chini? Zagarella? Arbes’?

Rumor has it that one year late, Jean Weiss is making it to the reunion. Even though this is not our reunion year, it is the bicentennial of the college and many, many of our classmates are going to attend. You owe it to yourself not to miss this. Our turnout last year was incredible.

Lloyd sent me a nice kick in the butt to get the blog going, and he is right. It is time to see who is coming to the mount on the reunion weekend. It is billed as an all class reunion because it is the 200th anniversary of the school. If we needed a bogus reason other than the great time we all had last year, this is it.
I am on the train. It seems to be going slow as we roll through Philly. I should call Scudder and have him throw down a hundy on a coin toss, but I digress.

The mount beat Coppin State the other day to “play on” into the bracket in the NCAA tourney. They outgunned Coppin state after a lackluster first half. Here is a link to ESPN’s coverage. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/recap?gameId=280782154
They are set to take on #1 seed North Carolina on Friday.

So, I am in Santa Monica at the beach (really at the Montgomery Tech Conference). I am going to try to look up Lisa Petrozzi if there is time. I know what you are thinking… as good as she looks, I should buy her a sandwich or two. Don’t worry, it will be on the agenda. My question is: Is there anyone else from c.92 in LA?

Sean Murphy, owner of an action figure and comic business in San Francisco was featured for his part in the WonderCon convention in SF. His store, located across the street from the Moscone Center in SF was written up by Wired magazine. See the article here. You can support Sean by ordering your very own action figues at his online store .

Well folks, the blog is back in session, and it is time to plan to come back for the Bicentennial reunion. Last year was a fantastic time, and ALL CLASSES ARE INVITED BACK THIS YEAR! Our weekend last June was the best time I’d had in ten years, and we should make it happen again. It was also nice to see no one has changed (as evidenced by this picture of TA). For my part, I will start the blogging and reminiscing once more. I even hear the class of 1993 is keeping tabs on the blog and getting psyched. so, here goes.First sign of craziness… I am psyched to see a groundswell for making it happen form Lloyd and Scudder late last week. Here it is:
> This is all the MSM names and email address I have, Lloyd has his
> clipboard
> out and is collecting $2 for that elusive case of the Beast. Fell free to
> forward to all other MSM’s (non-num, num’s) Who is in? - Peace, Scudder.
> >
> Friday night at the Gingerbread Man with eight good friends. $210.00
>
> Two SUV’s on a roadtrip around the mountain, the long way. $14.00
>
> Hanging out with Pat Schosinski and his classmates this June.
> Priceless!!!
>
> I trust all is well. I hope everyone who receives this note will think
> about
> attending this years reunion. It’s billed as an “all class” reunion and
> it’s
> a great opportunity to get together again. The dates this year are June
> 6th,
> 7th, and 8th.
>
> Yours in Christ,
>

Here is the roundup from what we know…
Our count was 109 classmates in attendance. (1/3 of the class)
Blog – almost 13,000 page views including lots of other classes
Everyone seemed to have a great time.
Let us mention a few things. First, we will keep this blog going, and it will be the place to go for class information -now and in the future. There will always be useful links in the upper right corner that will take you to mount happenings, events etc…
Among a bunch of lesser ones, there are two big events where we can look forward to a huge ‘92 showing. They are: the Bicentennial Gala at the New York Athletic Club on October 20th (great chance for a weekend getaway with spouses), and the Bicentennial Reunion Weekend next year which is for all classes as we celebrate the 200th year of the college.
